Abdullah Hussein
Abdullah Hussein is the founder and CEO of CHEMDUSTRY. He is a production chemistry advisor and published author with over 17 years of experience. His expertise spans solving production chemistry issues like solids deposition, emulsions, corrosion, microbiology, production chemicals, and lab activities. Recently, he published a new book, "Essentials of Flow Assurance Solids in Oil and Gas Operations,” which is a comprehensive reference for flow assurance and solids management in oil and gas operations.
Bruce Horne
Bruce Horne is an industry-recognized and respected Subject Matter Expert in the Oil and Gas Industry with specialization in demulsification and water clarification. He has a staggering 23+ years of experience with a proven track record managing domestic and international projects for super-majors in the world. He has managed Multi-Million-dollar projects from initiation to commercialization for Shell and BP in North America, NOCs in Latin America, ExxonMobil in Africa, Chevron and Aramco in the Middle East and ConocoPhillips in Europe.
Ahmad Shammari (Guest Speaker)
A principal petroleum engineer with more than 20 years of experience in oil and gas production optimization and Digital Oil Field solutions. Currently working as Product Champion for the industry standard multiphase flow simulator Pipesim, which is used for modeling and optimizing petroleum production systems.. Previously served 15 years with Saudi Aramco as a technical consultant and a project manager in various oil and gas design and optimization projects that covered diverse production engineering areas such as: integrated asset modeling, flow assurance, advanced completions (ICV, ICD, MRC…) and artificial lift (ESP and gas-lift). Designed and led the implementation of various automated engineering workflows in the area of virtual metering, production and reservoir surveillance and automatic well model building and calibration, for which I was granted two patents from the US patent office (US8688426B2 and US8731892B2).
